The school
Classroom and field training that equips lay people with the knowledge, skills, and tools to be effective disciples of Jesus — and to bring His freedom to real people.
Equipping, envisioning, empowering — in the classroom and the field.
Learn the foundations
Twenty weeks of Bible and practical subjects in focused modules — building deep knowledge and real, usable skills.
Put it into practice
What you learn in the morning, you use in real ministry the same week: Bible studies, health outreach, canvassing, and Care Groups.
What you’ll study
Modules usually run two weeks (some one week; Revelation runs four). Take the full program, or — space permitting — join specific modules. A certificate is awarded for each subject completed.
Bible subjects
- Conversion & Righteousness by Faith An in-depth study of righteousness by faith — what conversion is, the relationship between faith and works, and how to live by faith day by day.
- Fundamentals of the Christian Faith The 28 fundamental beliefs in light of the Three Angels’ Messages — learning to give effective Bible studies and answer difficult texts with Scripture.
- How to Study the Bible Sound methods for searching the Scriptures — observation, interpretation, and, above all, application.
- Studies on the Sanctuary The earthly and heavenly sanctuary, and our calling to live in the light of the Heavenly Sanctuary Message.
- Studies on Daniel A verse-by-verse study through the whole book of Daniel, with the principles of prophetic interpretation.
- Studies on Revelation A verse-by-verse study of Revelation in light of the sanctuary message, Daniel, and prophetic interpretation.
Practical subjects
- A Holy Spirit-Led Lifestyle Experiential training in living a Spirit-led life as the disciples did in Acts — a daily, personal revival, and equipping you to disciple others.
- Steps to Christ A thoughtful study of Ellen White’s classic on a deep, abiding relationship with Jesus, applied to freedom and restoration.
- Freedom & Restoration Spiritual warfare and counseling for healing and freedom — rebuking negative thoughts, claiming Bible promises, and putting on the armour of God.
- Evangelism & Care Groups Christ’s method of personal, one-on-one ministry — with hands-on experience through Care Groups and community outreach.
- Speech & Homiletics · Leadership Using the voice to present the Word in private and public — preparing a sermon, preaching, and testimony — plus growing as a faithful, humble leader.
- Health The health message in the mission field — practical training in plant-based cooking, simple natural remedies, and community health screenings.

A day shaped around Jesus
Mornings with God
Every class day begins with corporate worship, plus unrushed personal devotion time — the heart of everything else.
Cook & eat together
All meals provided. Two plant-based meals a day, prepared in teams — you’ll learn healthy cooking as part of the training.
The Sabbath
From Friday sundown to Saturday sundown — our favorite time together: rest, worship, and renewal.
A mentor in your corner
Every student is paired with a mentor for counsel and encouragement through a season of real growth.

You’ll arrive in late summer and graduate in winter, so pack warm layers and waterproof shoes. Fly into Walla Walla (ALW) or Pasco (about an hour away) — Susan can help arrange a ride from the airport.
Honest about cost — covered in faith
The program costs about $9,000 per person to run. Because our staff take no regular salary, each on-campus student’s share is $7,500 for the full five months — covering tuition, meals, housing, and more.
| Category | 5 months | Month | Week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Food | $1,750 | $350 | $88 |
| Accommodations | $2,500 | $500 | $125 |
| Transportation | $250 | $50 | $12 |
| Tuition | $3,000 | $600 | $150 |
| Total | $7,500 | $1,500 | $375 |
Part-time: $375/week (with housing & meals), or $150/week for local students who don’t need accommodation, food, or transport.
Covered in faith
Each student covers their share. Bring it before the Lord, trusting Him to provide — what costs us something is valued accordingly. Pay upfront, or each month within its first week.
Help is available
If money is tight, seek support from family, friends, and your church — and you can also apply for Teleo USA financial assistance. Don’t let cost keep you from applying.
Things people ask a lot
Who can come? Is there an age limit?
There’s no age limit. Most students are 18–30s, but we’ve had students in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. Students under 18 need a guardian to come with them.
How soon will I hear back after applying?
Once we receive a complete application, we typically review it and email a decision within a week. The longest waits come from incomplete applications.
What does it cost, and is help available?
$7,500 for the full five months (covered in faith), or $375/week part-time / $150/week local. If money is tight, seek support from family, friends, and church — and you can apply for Teleo USA financial assistance.
Can I attend just part of the five months?
Yes, space permitting. Part-time students join specific modules at $375/week (with housing & meals) and receive a certificate for each module completed.
I’m an international student — what about a visa?
Because Teleo isn’t an accredited institution, you should not apply for a student visa. International students typically apply for a B-2 tourist visa, and we provide an invitation letter on acceptance. Bring a purchased return ticket showing departure within six months. Check with your U.S. embassy for details.
What’s the daily schedule like — will I have free time?
Days are full and purposeful — devotions, classes, practical work, outreach, and worship — but real rest is built in: daily time for recreation, a full night’s sleep, and the Sabbath. Expect a busy, satisfying rhythm, not long idle stretches.
Do I need a car?
A car is ideal since everyone has transportation needs. Bring your own if you can (maintained, licensed, insured) — those who drive others are reimbursed for actual costs. If you can’t bring one, Teleo arranges transport using staff and student vehicles.
Do you accommodate couples or children?
Men and women are housed separately, and full-time students stay in the provided accommodation. If you have a specific family situation, contact Susan and we’ll talk it through.
Will I get college credit?
Teleo is a training program, not an accredited school, so we can’t guarantee transferable credit. We can issue a transcript; acceptance is up to the receiving school.
